Tryout Information

The Southbury FC Advanced program is for U15-U19 age players in High School. The program is designed for the High School player looking to continue developing their skills during the winter and spring. Players will train in a team environment by licensed soccer coaches.

This program is meant for High School players looking to train and play at a high school appropriate level, while still being able to maintain different priorities. We understand that some players commitment to other sports may sometimes be a conflict. We do not hold that against players, however as this is an advanced program and playing time is not balanced(similar to high school Varsity/JV teams).  Game specific playing time is not guaranteed.

Typical League and Training Schedule:

• Winter Indoor League (January-February) weekends
• Spring Outdoor warmup Tournament Westport (Mid March)
• Spring Outdoor Training (April-June) Mon/Wed (Girls) Tue/Thur (Boys)
• Spring Outdoor League (April-June) Weekends
• Other Tournaments (Nutmeg or others)
• Friendly games may also be added
